University Veterinary Hospital & Diagnostic Center (UVHDC) has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association since 1992, an accomplishment achieved by less than 15% of U.S. veterinary hospitals.  AAHA was founded in 1933, and is the only association providing confirmation of excellence to companion animal hospitals.  AAHA Standards of Accreditation are used to ensure that accredited hospitals commit to, and perform at, an extremely high level of quality of care and customer service.  UVHDC voluntarily submits to accreditation evaluation – we choose to be evaluated on our clients’ and patients’ behalf.  This evaluation encompasses over 800 standards that directly correlate to the care we are providing your pet and our business practices and customer service standards.  The AAHA standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure they remain consistent with changes at the forefront of veterinary medicine, technology and customer service.
