Dr. Lynn McCarron has very unique qualifications for a Utah veterinarian. She is a certified member of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in canine and feline practice. This distinction is held by only a few Utah Veterinarians. She leads our veterinary medical team with her unusual level of practice expertise. This means you can rely on the highest standard of care available. We set our standards high so that we can provide you and your pets the highest quality Care and Service From the Heart.
The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners was established in 1978 by the American Veterinary Medical Association to certify practitioners with exceptional knowledge, skill and competency in the care of the total patient. Diplomats of the ABVP have made a significant commitment to continuing education, and are focused on delivering the highest quality care integrating every aspect of your pet’s health, including medical and surgical needs. To achieve this certification, a veterinarian must undergo a minimum of six years of veterinary practice and complete a rigorous application which includes two case reports, references, descriptions of practice procedures, and professional education records. This is followed by an extensive two-day examination.
Dr. McCarron achieved certification in 1996, and successfully re-certified in 2006.
